In connection with the fact that the it-solutions presented on the market solved the problems of agribusiness partially, in 2017 the top management of agricultural holding “Astarta-Kyiv” – Victor Ivanchik and Victor Gladkiy decided to create a software product – an ecosystem that would meet all the needs of the company, in the first place in the field of crop production – raw materials and feed base for other business areas.
To achieve the goals and set goals, AgriChain’s own in-house company was created with a cross-functional team of experts. During the development, the ideas and long-term experience of both own experts, who are experts in the industry, and other market participants were consolidated.
Such synergy of knowledge and experience has been embodied in it-solutions, which were created two years ago, and improvement is still in progress. The development was transformed into a single information portal on agribusiness management, which consists of several modules.

For example, the AgriChain Land module is already operating for 250 thousand hectares. With the help of this it-solution is managing the entire area of the land bank of agricultural holding “Astarta-Kyiv”.
A number of problems were identified with the product: Underprocessing, overprocessing and technical losses. As a result of the first year of use the real effect, confirmed by quantitative and financial indicators, about 7$ per hectare was obtained.
At the same time, the use of AgriChain Farm – production management module, which combines the work of all services – agronomic, engineering, dispatch, warehouse, accounting online with maximum mobility of all participants, allowed to achieve direct economic effect in the amount of 8,1$ per ha in the first year of use at one of the holding divisions.
