Effective management of the land bank is a high-quality structuring of a large volume of data and operational work for making effective management decisions. One of the main problems of the management of the land bank of large and medium-sized companies in Ukraine is the comparison and consolidation of different, non-structured data of large volumes. Data is often stored in different digital, and often paper formats.
The AgriChain team is constantly gathering feedback from the users of the AgriChain Land system for the development and improvement of the product’s software functionality.
To optimize the performance of the map in the system, as well as the layers of the map (G-Hybrid, G-Satellite, G-streets, G-terrain, OpenStreet, Bing-aerial, Bing-Road, designed for the user of the layer) the development of the front-end part of the product was translated into react (javascript-library with open source code) using the component model. This decision allowed us to create a working set of components and in the future, during the development of new functions use them with minimal changes. This solution increases the quality of the code and its maintenance in the future.
For example, having developed the “Map” component for AgriChain Land, with all kinds of layers (system and user-friendly support), in the future this component is built into any application site with minimal costs from developers, which accelerates the development and systematization of the structure frontend.
A large functional block for the creation of partial exchanges of land plots in the system has been built, as in addition to problems with processing of running, there are legislative norms that contribute to the creation of such a unique phenomenon in agribusiness of Ukraine as “chess”.
From now on, the AgriChain land user, an expert in agribusiness land management, records the partial exchange in three stages:
- Creates its own land polygon on the map, and the system automatically calculates the area for each land area;
- Creates an external polygon or chooses from existing land in the system;
- System algorithms create an exchange agreement with all necessary work details. report taking into account all partial exchanges. also, all users of the system of a specific agrocompany have an opportunity to carry out visual analysis of the areas on the map.
