AgriChain Cattle: Digital Transformation of Livestock

In the era of digital transformation, the efficiency of farm management depends on speed, accuracy, and flexibility in decision-making. One of the biggest challenges for dairy farms is the availability of real-time data, especially in areas with unstable internet connectivity.

AgriChain Cattle—a new mobile application from AgriChain—effectively addresses this issue by enabling livestock farmers to access and manage critical data in any environment, regardless of connectivity status.

The first release of AgriChain Cattle has already been successfully tested and launched on two dairy farms of Astarta’s agribusinesses: “Imeni Dovzhenka” and “Astarta-Prykhoroillya”. The software was developed in close collaboration with the livestock management department, ensuring it is precisely tailored to the actual needs of the industry.

Training sessions for farm managers, shift supervisors, zootechnicians, and veterinary specialists were conducted by Oleksandr Kharchenko, Head of Project Management and Business Analysis, and Vladyslav Lepekha, Senior Business Analyst. They introduced the application’s key features, including:

✔ Offline functionality. Users can access and enter data even in remote locations with no internet, and once a connection is restored, all data automatically syncs with the central system.
✔ Instant data access. Essential livestock information is readily available, significantly reducing time spent on administrative tasks.
✔ User-friendly interface. Designed for simplicity, the application is easy to use, even for those with minimal experience in digital solutions.
✔ Improved decision-making. Real-time analytics and rapid data processing enable managers to respond promptly to changes in farm operations.
