Digital transformation of “Agroprodservice”
Agroprodservice is a successful and constantly developing agro-enterprise. Today the enterprise is processing more than 40 thousand hectares of Ukrainian land, on its own farms, the company annually increases 300 thousand heads of pigs, 2 million heads of chickens, 6,5 thousand heads of cattle, of them almost 2,5 thousand heads of the basic herd.
This was achieved through an effective vertically integrated business model, diversification of agricultural risks, and focusing on two segments, namely, plant and swine. One of the basic principles of doing business for Agroprodservice was and is the social component. Innovations of the company in the establishment of social partnership provide for interaction and mutual respect between owners of land plots, territorial communities, and agribusiness in the person of structural subdivisions of the agro-company.

That is why we decided to introduce it tools to increase the transparency of processes and efficiency of plant growing in general”, – Andrey Baran, CEO of Agroproservice.
A lot of products were considered in the decision-making process, among which was selected the software from AgriChain company, which is focused on the tasks facing the medium and large agribusiness of Ukraine. The choice was made after a detailed analysis of the functional, which fully met the task of Agroprodservice and familiarization with the results of the program’s implementation in other agricultural holdings. One of the key criteria of choice was the complete integration of solutions with 1C and the experience of company specialists in implementation.
AgriChain Company was founded in 2017 by the management of ASTARTA-Kyiv agribusiness holding. All this time they are engaged in the development and implementation of it-tools to increase the efficiency of agribusiness. AgriChain’s single-name unified information system covers all areas of the company’s activity, the whole business chain, from the land bank to the logistics of finished products to processors, elevators, or ports.
Agroprodservice management decided to choose three it-products and continue full-scale business conducting, which has already been started inside the company, namely:
• Agrichain Land – land bank management system
• Agrichain Farm – the system of planning and management of agricultural production
• Agrichain Logistics – logistics management system for goods and finished products
The first stage was full digitization of the land bank with the purpose of carrying out an audit of the enterprise’s land assets and introducing a single system for uniting all information about the land resources in one program. The land bank is the basis of agricultural production, and in the conditions of uncertainty and the start of the land market, the special attention of each agribusiness owner is paid to this issue. Implementation of the program allowed to identify technical losses by site, to process, and underprocess fields, and to receive full operational and reliable reports.
The specialists of the Land Department work daily in the Agrisolution Land program, and all necessary information for accounting falls to 1C due to the integration of these programs.
The program fully moderates work with shareholders, contracts, and exchanges of land.

The second stage has launched the implementation of the it-system for the management of production processes of Agrichain Farm. The main goal is to obtain operational data on all field operations, implement tools for the plan-actual analysis of the production program execution, and automate the workflow related to technological operations and general work.
From now on, agronomists plan to perform works, necessary equipment (crews), and parts through a mobile application. In addition, it is also recorded the movement of the part, the fact of the work, and the used part. All the data from the plugin are included in 1C, where the traffic letters and documents are formed on the movement and cancellation of the part. Thanks to the combination of two blocs – land and production – all works are recorded on the areas of the fields, which are certified by the Land Department. From now on, it is always possible to get information about the company’s fields, the family, the history of works, and the part’s completion under each field, and it is also possible to easily learn about the works performed in the fields, to monitor the equipment and to force reports both in the mobile application and in the 1C subsystem.
Reliable field data in an online mode is an extremely important stage for effective planning of changes and execution of production programs. In fact, it was the basic stage of automation in the framework of agro-production processes. All plans are not open to us, but there are already preliminary agreements on further stages of automation in plant production between Agroproservice and AgriChain.
In parallel with the production unit, an it-system was introduced to manage the logistics of parts and products from the field – Logistics. The company started closing only part of the transportation through a mobile application in 2021, namely operations “Field – elevator” and “Field – beetpoint”. Due to the addition of agronomists, enterprises form electronic TNT, recording the necessary details. After the machine has been sent, the TNT is transferred to the monitoring stage, where the transport is accompanied by security service specialists, and all information from the mobile application is transferred to the accounting system for the automatic creation of the TNT document.
The first stage helped to reduce the time to send the machine out of the field and to receive products in the storage areas. In the future, it is planned to automatically calculate the need for transport according to the plan of harvest, formation of the roads, and routes of transport. At the same time, possible changes in legislation and the introduction of an electronic register of TNT can adjust plans and the next step will be the implementation of e-TNT, work with which AgriChain Company is already conducting.
