In modern agriculture, the most common normalized relative vegetative index NDVI, which characterizes the density of vegetation and allows agrarians to estimate similarity, growth, presence of weeds or disease, and also forecast crop yield from the field. AgriChain Scout also allows for analysis of GNDVI, EVI2, and soil moisture.

GNDVI is a green normalized relative vegetative index, very similar to NDVI except that instead of the red spectrum it measures green in the range from 0,54 to 0,57 µm – is a measure of photosynthetic activity of the plant cover, the most frequently used in the estimation of moisture content and nitrogen concentration in plant leaves on multispectral data, in which there is no extreme red channel.
EVI2 is an improved vegetative index, built as an improvement of NDVI by optimizing the vegetation signal in areas with high leaf surface index (LAI).

For the convenience of users, the latest release of AgriChain Scout provides an opportunity to compare different indicators in one window.

With the new desktop-based feature, the user can compare one or more fields with different indexes. To compare images available for different dates, cloud reading has also been added to all images, which will exclude images taken on cloudy days from the analysis.
